Introduction!

Since LJ stopped being mean to me and finally allowed me to post properly: here's an introduction!

I'm Nicole or N. I don't mind which one you use to address me. I'm... well, socially awkward. An introvert. I try my best to talk to people around here and be friends with them though. Really! I'm still new to the world of LJ as it took me a long while to gather up the courage to create an account here and socialize.

Arashian (Arashi), ELF (Super Junior), I'm also into Visual Kei/Jrock bands such as X Japan, the GazettE, Miyavi, and SuG. Also a Killjoy (MCR), and currently converted to Marvel & DC trash. (No regrets. None at all.)

I post very random things; from rants, random blabberings, even downloads to fanfictions (Anyone want to be my beta-reader?). You have been warned. But please, do feel free to approach and talk to me here or tweet to me at aibasshi on twitter or at neenoshi on tumblr. I'm more active on Twitter, and I need more fandom friends. I really do. It's torture having all these "feels" and not having any friends to share them with! Oh, and if I somehow forget to add you back, please comment here so I can! Entries are mostly public, but do know that when you add me, you'll be seeing some very random stuff that can get pretty personal sometimes... (for those of you who just added me 'cuz of downloads, I don't post much. Just those I can get my hands on!)

Hi there! I'm Angel from the Philippines.

I am quite a new fan of Arashi. I came to know them because I felt nostalgic and decided to rewatch Hana Yori Dango last year.

Unlike in the past, I got really into Jun and Inoue this time, so I watched all MaoJun videos that I could find in Youtube. And there, I stumbled one where she guested in HnA. And after that, I literally got hooked and instantly become addicted to everything Arashi. I am trying to cathc-up and watch ALL their variety shows, and my current MOST favorite is Arashi no shukudai kun.

My next "project" now is to make friends with fellow Arashi fans since I think it's better if I could talk to someone who share the same love and passion with Arashi. Hope you'll accept my friend request. :-)

Hello there! It's nice to meet you. I'm also from the Philippines! And no worries, we're the same! I've watched Hana Yori Dango years ago and grew to like Jun (and of course, the OSTs that Arashi had sung!) but never really "got into" the fandom, y'know? I watched the drama and lurked outside the fandom for years, and I only called myself a "fan" a few months ago when I re-watched HanaDan and started downloading more songs of theirs. The rest is history. Hehe.

Wow, we bacame an Arashi fan in almost the same manner ;-) And we're Kababayan! Aayyyiiiieee!

I think MJ's Filipino fans are having a reunion as we speak (or type), it's a bummer I wasn't able to join. But hopefully, Ill be able to go next year.

I haven't started to listen fully in all of their songs, I'm focusing ontheir shows first. And as I watched more shows, the more I am falling in love with them-- Ohno's "leadership" and quirky acts, Nino's brattiness, Sho's "athleticism", Aiba's "genius" ideas, and MJ's EVERYTHING (his face, body, heart, and soul)!

It's such a coincidence, huh? Haha! It's actually rare for me to find fellow Arashian's who are also Filipinos :c so it's such a pleasure to meetcha! :^)

Yeah! Couldn't attend if I wanted to since I don't know anyone. Seriously. Haha! I just hope that they'll be arranging a fangathering next year too! If so, then I might just go as well~

I see, I see. I'm doing the same, I'm starting with HnA (then the other variety shows like D no Arashi). Kinda sucks how some episodes haven't been subbed/have deadlinks :--( It's impossible not to fall for each of them, huh? They're special and cute in their own ways. Haha! ^^

Actually, I really got into the fandom because one of my officemates, whom I am really close, is a BIG Arashi fan since 2006.

I think I mentioned to her that I was rewatching Handan and she shoed me Nino's photo, which is actually has been in her cubicle wall for a long time. And I was like, "Oh, I know that, he's Nino right". And after that, she sort of did an "initiation" for me and have me watched all of Arashi subbed videos. She also gave me the tip of creating an LJ account so I could download more videos and find/meet other Arashi fans.

I think it the Matsujun fandom will have the gathering yearly, maybe we could both attend ;-)

Wa~ it's nice to have someone to fangirl with in real life, mhm? So her ichiban is Nino? *^* That's adorbs haha! Her efforts paid off. I, on the other hand... I guess I'm the one who does the "converting". Lol. Though my friends are mostly into Korean pop than Japanese pop. I guess I started to be more "open" when I made an LJ account. The fandom is full of nice people, imo. ><

Yup2, he's a BIG Nino fan.. And the photo, by the way, on he office cubicle, is a legit photo from JE's shop. :-D And since Nino and I shared the same birthday month, we even celebrated mine and Nino's day :-P Most of the time that we hangout, we talked abut Arashi. :-D

One of the best fangirl experience is fangirling with the other fangirls.. hahahah.. that's a lot of "fangirl" word there.

By the way, I would really like to commend you for all you subbing works. How I wish I also know how to speak/understand Japanese. There are some Arashi shows that I wish to watch, but cannot find a subbed version anywhere. :-(

Oh my, it's nothing! I just time and typeset. :c Other fans did all the translation. My Japanese isn't translator-worthy! (I can only translate very little lol) But I guess that's one of my goals. To learn Japanese enough to sub the un-subbed episodes of shows fans want to see D:
